Congratulations & Goodbye

For the last 9 years Dale Jaensch has been a valued member of the Western Port family. Over this time, he has been a familiar face and voice in the WPBA office to us all but unfortunately when we return Dale will not be with us having recently resigned.

Dale has undertaken many roles in his time with WPBA including the Domestic Competition Coordinator and more recently, our Accounts and Administration Manager.  During his tenure last year, Dale moved to a part time status whilst working a full-time night shift job to help support his family.

On his departure, some of Dale’s comments in his exit interview included the following:

“It saddens me that I will not be a part of Western Port Basketball's future. I accomplished many things, both personally and professionally, and although not all my personal goals were met, I can honestly say I gave 100% to the Western Port Basketball Association. Hopefully, I gave back a little to an association that has given me so much.”

As mentioned, a key reason behind Dale’s choice was family and on behalf of the Western Port Family we pass on our congratulations to him and his partner Sharni on the safe arrival of baby Olivia who will be a little sister to Archie.
